British Intelligence: Strong Ukrainian resistance is imperiling Russian advancement

Intelligence from the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence has published its latest report on the situation in Ukraine, Periscopi notes.

The Donbas battle holds Russia's top strategic focus in order to achieve its stated goal that it is control over the regions of Donbas and Luhansk.

There has been serious fighting in these regions especially around Lysychansk and Severodonnetsk with an effort to advance south from Izzyum to Slovenansk.

Thanks to strong Ukrainian resistance, Russian territorial advances have been limited, and this resistance caused significant losses to Russian forces. /Periscopi
