No case of bird flu in Kosovo

Bird flu has spread in several areas of Albania, affecting not only chickens but also pelicians, while no confirmed cases still exist in Kosovo. Three species that died of bird flu have been discovered in Lake Prespa, while over 1,000 pelicians [are] reported in the Greek waters of the Prespa area.

As far as Shkodra Lake is concerned, no case of bird flu has been confirmed in Pelicans. Bird flu has affected chickens in Shkodra.
In Kosovo so far there are no confirmed cases of bird flu, however, relevant institutions are taking steps and monitoring.
Since the onset of this flu in Durres, Kosovo has banned the import of chickens.
In Albania, the presence of bird flu has been identified in Devall, Divjak, Durres, Vlora, and Prespa.
