The American Treasury also said it would launch a new $500m aid to help the Ukrainian government in operations such as pay salaries and other services.
Finally, Biden also spoke of Russia's claims that he has taken control of the town of Marioupolis, where he said “is in question” if Putin is under the control of the besieged city.
