Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has asked parliament to withdraw the money issued for the month-long diet from his bank account.
In a “notice Facebook”, Berisha writes he will not accept any diet until the end of his mandate.
He adds that his moves outside Tirana could afford his income.
“Today I learned from the media that in my bank account, parliament has poured diets for me for the month of February, as well as for 93 other deputies, 75250 lek diets.
I declare the following about the above:
I had no knowledge of these diets.
I ask parliament to withdraw them from my bank account.
I'm deputy of the Tirane County and I'm not going to accept any diet until the end of the term.
My moves out of the Tirane County will deal with my income”, Berisha writes. /Top Channel/
