The victims are two brothers, 37 and 44 years old from Archille. The cars, which traveled in the opposite direction, have touched each other in half a frontal way, ending up in two side holes.
The road was closed to traffic to allow rescue operations and pending the prosecutor's arrival of the case, which is expected to clear up the circumstances of all fatal accident.
It is learned that in the accident, including a third person, a 28-year-old Albanian youth who was injured by the crash and transferred to the Misericordia Hospital. The 28-year-old Albanian was travelling in his car when he crashed face-to-face with the car of two Albanian brothers and then both vehicles ended up in the canals by the way. The accident occurred in Chessa at the crossroads between Pupille and Arcille.
The ambulances and two helicopters went to the scene immediately, but the two Albanians could not survive. The 37-year-old Albanian had two children and his wife was pregnant with a third child, while the older brother had three children. The two brothers were on their way to work.
