Zelensky with the people nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize

European politicians have nominated Zelensky and the Ukrainian people for the Nobel Prize.

An open letter was sent to the Nobel Prize committee by a group of European politicians seeking to extend the nominations deadline in order to include the Volodyr Zelensky Proposal and Ukraine's people for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The open letter has been signed by dozens of European politicians, according to Ukrinform.

European officials believe the Nobel Committee should extend the Nobel Peace Prize nomination process by March 3rd 2022 to allow the Nobel Peace Prize nomination for President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine. The application process ended on 31 January.
