US President Joe Biden held a video phone call today for more than an hour with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and leaders of France and Germany.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky wants the West to step up pressure on Russia by preventing the purchase of its oil and gas, but so far an agreement has not been reached.
There is fear that European countries that rely heavily on Russian energy could be hit especially hard by such an act.
The White House statement said leaders also reiterated “commitment to continue providing security, economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine”.
