Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has defended Slobodan Milosevic, saying he was not guilty of the war in Kosovo, then that the latter is known as the “The Balkan Casap”.
Now things are much more difficult than then. Today when we talk about the conflict in the former Yugoslavia, we always find the blame in someone else. I think it takes two pairs to fight. And I say [Slo Slobodan] Milosevic was not guilty, but it was his duty to calculate the consequences”.
He even claimed that Milosevic has only calculated the consequences until he made a comparison to today's situation in the Ukraine-Russia war.
I would say the same thing today. [Vladimir] Putin and [Volodymyr] Zelensky: It's up to you to accept the guilt of being traitors, to lose elections, but to save your seats”
“A is someone in Ukraine to calculate that someone will intervene and eventually sign the same agreement they would now sign. Only the country will be much more destroyed. Do you want an end to war or victory this is a question for both sides. I'm afraid everyone expects victory. And if so, I can tell you tonight that the days, weeks, and months ahead of us will only deteriorate”, he said of Serbian television “Prva”, broadcast Clankosova.tv.
Serbia's first also spoke of Russia's non-sanctionism, saying they cannot counter the only ally who has been on their side in the last ten years.
