Beden had unveiled the new aid package last week after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy offered an imputent prayer to Congress for more help.
The United States will continue sending the rest to Ukraine as soon as possible, the official said, including 800 anti-aircraft systems and 100 war drones, among many other aides. Both are considered vital for the protection of Ukraine.
