The issue of foreign troops is controversial in Slovakia. The vote comes just two days before US Defence Secretary Slovakia's first visit since the former Soviet bloc joined NATO in 2004.
Slovakia has accepted more than 200,000 refugees from Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian occupation on February 24th.
