Meanwhile, temporary employees and agencies with minimum wages, their salary will increase by more to $10.88 per hour, but will not stay that way for long.
The government will raise the minimum wage to 12 euros per hour this year, so the same workers will see another salary increase in September.
In the care sector, a particular minimum wage is implemented that is already higher than in other sectors: currently, this group can earn between 12.50 and 15m per hour depending on their level of skills.
However, following recommendations by the Care Commission, further wage increases will take place in April as part of a step-by-step plan to significantly increase salaries for caregivers by 2024, albinfo.ch reports on the story.
First step next month:
The nurses will receive a minimum of 12.55 per hour,
Qualified nurses will receive 14.60 per hour,
The care workers will receive $15.40 an hour.
That amount will continue to rise over the next 20 months to a fee per hour of 14.15, 15.25, and 18.25, respectively. /Albinfo. ch
