“Operational Personel is monitoring the situation of energy units”, a local media authority has said, Reuters news agency reported.
The personnel are continuing to work and monitoring the situation, the authority has said.
A fire broke out several hours ago at this biggest plant in Europe following Russian attacks.
Otherwise, the largest nuclear power plant in Ukraine, Zaporizija, was reportedly attacked by Russians in the early hours of Friday 4 March.
The attack occurred in early hours Friday morning, according to local time in Ukraine.
During the plant area, fighting has been under way for several days.
It was confirmed that the attack did not cause serious consequences to cause nuclear disasters.
Experts reported no rise in radioactivity levels.
Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, sought assistance from the European Union following the attack.
Zelensky said that if the bombings continue, the disaster could be bigger than the Chernobyl disaster that occurred in 1986.
The White House said there is information that there is currently no high risk of rising levels of radioactivity.
