Russia preparing for Kiev

“According to current information, the enemy is preparing for a new effort to get Kiev”, the Ukrainian Army press service said.

Kiev, Ukraine's most populated city, has reportedly been relatively calm in recent days, although Russian artillery has hit the capital's periphery.

Earlier this week, Kiev chairman Vitaly Klitschko has ordered residents to stay inside their homes or shelters until the city is increasing safeguards, adding that fierce fighting is continuing outside Kiev.
