Russia dismisses official giving the news that China has rejected Moscow

Russian aviation authorities have fired an official who had said last week that China had refused to supply Russia with parts of aircraft following West sanctions, the newspaper naught Kommersantı reported on Tuesday, citing sources and the official, writes The Guardian, Perisskopi follows. Valery Kudinov, a protocol official responsible for the Russian Federation Air Transport Agency's protocol, had declared Russia is in talks to secure spare parts of planes, including Turkey and India after Russia had failed in its efforts to secure them in China.
A source has confirmed to Reuters that Kudinov has been fired, adding that he has remained unemployed due to his public statement about China.
Russia's newspaper Kommersant quoted Kudinov as saying that he has left work on revealing information under a government law in which it says civil servants should be brought in.
