So stated Ukraine's national security service.
The attack on the nuclear facility took place on the 11th day of the invasion, and the security service said it jeopardises a large-scale <x0) ecological disaster”.
The Institute claims Moscow forces were firing rockets from launchers called “Grad” mounted in the truck, which have no correct aim, reports The Independent, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
The Institute of Physics and Technology at Kharkiv houses a nuclear research facility called “Source Neutron”, in the active area of which 37 nuclear fuel cells are reportedly in charge.
The target was known as the site where scientists reportedly made discoveries that were important to enable the Soviet Union to develop atom bombs.
When the new nuclear facility was discovered in 2014, Kharkiv authorities reported that the nuclear object would offer Ukraine new research opportunities and capacity to produce isotope, mainly for diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
