Putin also stressed that keeping Russia under control was the Western's long-term policy and that economic sanctions against Russia are short-term, Reuters reports, Perskopi follows.
He added that Western countries wanted to strike every Russian family with sanctions and accused them of co-operation in the non-information campaign against Russia.
Putin also said Russia was ready to discuss Ukraine's neutral status in talks to try to end the hostilities there, but that Moscow is still fulfilling the purpose of the military operation, which is going according to plan.
