On the eve of the NATO Summit, which is held next week, Kalais has said that NATO's strategy should focus on the outcome of this war through a “wise refraining”, saying that from its “prevention capacity”, the Alliance should move to “the location of defence”.
According to her, NATO must strengthen the defence capacities of each member state and its entirety.
“Certain capacities are very expensive for several states, but if we work together here in Europe to protect our territories, we will become stronger”, she has said.
It has proposed that all NATO member states work together to isolate Russia on all possible political levels.
Kallais has said that Estonia sees no danger from a Third World War, and according to her, the effort that must be made is to conclude it. She has said Putin is feeding the right in Europe and the US, creating a new refugee crisis.
