“were powerful and proud”, Krasniqi: Meeting with Thaci and Wessel in The Hague was emotional

Krasniqi says she was planning in December to meet with them, but that it was postponed because of Covid. Krasniqi also adds that he has been passed by Nasim Hardinain across the street.

I was a few days ago in The Hague to visit former PDK leaders, Mr Thacin and Wessel. This was my first visit since the visit I had agreed to make shortly after the local elections was postponed because of Ovidius, having opportunity inside. Then the moment it was issued, I applied again and was approved. Only Mr. Wessel and Thaci met. I was able to see Nasim Haradinaj. We were not able to see with others”, he said.

It was a friendly visit. I went there to this quality. I was the vice president of both of them at different stages. I was impressed that I found them very strong and focused. Normally they already have a focus on the cases they're facing. It was emotional”, Kransqi added.

Chairman The PDK also told of the situation of former leaders staying in custody at The Hague as their trial process continues.

Very good. In that sense I'm telling you the truth I'm not surprised because we're talking about people who have carried much bigger commitment on their shoulders. Normally, this was neither expected nor fair, since a plea for freedom was expected to be approved. They were powerful and proud of what they did in their lives”, he said.

It's not like I can say something extraordinary because it was just a waiting and friendly visit. The conversation was also of nature. But I'm saying that not only were they strong, but they were so focused and determined that man is inspired of them.
