British intelligence, on the other hand, claims the Russian invasion is stuck on all fronts and is making minimal progress.
The Pentagon estimates that at least 7 thousand Russian troops have died so far and between 14,000 and 21 thousand have been injured.
If these figures are true, then Russia means that it lost 1/5 of the army with 150 thousand troops deployed at the border before the attack began.
The loss is twice the loss of NATO during two decades of fighting in Afghanistan or the size of US losses in 36 days of battles on Iwo Jima Island in Japan during World War II.
According to American intelligence, losses are so great that even Russian forces' units are unable to continue fighting.
On the other hand, Russians are continuing on and off the bombing of Ukraine's cities.
