Pentagon: 500 other US troops to be deployed in Poland, Romania, Germany and Greece

Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby announced the new arrangements tonight, which he said are being positioned to support American forces already in Europe in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

These are just protective forces. These are actually the ones we're talking about today, they're wrestlers. And we said earlier, when we decided, 7000 extras, that there would be possibilities associated with them. This is part of that support,” said Kirby.

New entries include fuel supplies KC-135 from Fairfield Air Force Base to Spokane, Washington, Greece.
