The PDK says these demonstrations mark a turning point in the history of the people of Kosovo, which rose against oppression, exploitation, injustice and depression experienced by the Yugoslav conqueror.
““Kosovar Kosovars”, “We did Republika”, “Constitutional Republic, due in favour of war”, “we want the national flag”, “we wanted the unification of the Albanian lands”, these were some of the slogans of the 1981 demonstrations, which mark a twist in the history of the people of Kosovo, which rose against oppression, injustice, and repression experienced by the Yugoslav occupation. The strike of these demonstrations was March 11th, the first 41 years with the outbreak of revolt by University of Pristina students for better conditions and dignified treatment”, it says in posting this party on Facebook. / P ERISCOPIA
