A source of opposition from Belarus said Belarus's military units are ready to go to Ukraine in a few days, with thousands of troops prepared for deployment. In view of this source, it would have less military impact than it would have a geopolitical impact, taking into account implications in case another country joins the war.
A senior NATO intelligence official said the coalition estimates that the Belarus government is preparing circumstances to justify an offensive against Ukraine.
Belarusites last month voted to have the country cut Russian forces and nuclear weapons indefinitely, even though American officials stressed for CNN that they have not yet seen any evidence Russia is moving or preparing for the nuclear weapons movement.
