One of the leading commanders of Russian paratroopers has been killed in Ukraine, in what is being seen as the subsequent blow to Vladimir Putin's war, writes Mirror, records Periscopi.
Colonel Sergei Sukharev's death by the Parachust Guard by the Costroma Regiment was confirmed by state television in Moscow.
Earlier, his solution had also been made known by the Ukrainian Centre for Strategic and Information.
Sukharev was presented on a Russian television in January, when he had led his troops from the return from Kazakhstan, which had been sent because of the wave of protests.
Russia had dubbed the mission in Kazakhstan as a peacekeeper, and Sukharev had declared that his forces had protected a key thermal power plant in Almati.
