The presidential adviser added that hundreds of Russian soldiers, including senior officers, have also been detained as prisoners.
“A Russian Army commander was sent to Belarus after being seriously injured”, adviser Olexiya Arestovich said at a television conference.
It should be noted, however, that Russia has reported a very different figure for the number of its soldiers killed.
