Social Democratic Party Chairman Dardan Moliqaj says Kosovo does not have “any chance of membership” in NATO.
He says that because the five European Union countries, which are also part of NATO, have not recognised Kosovo's independence.
Because without knowing the five EU member states, we have no chance to take any action towards NATO. You can make demands every day, but I believe that the road would have to be completely different”, Moliqaj said.
Invited to the “debate site” in Tv1, Moliqaj has talked about relations with Serbia.
According to him, Kosovo does not need a conflict with the Serbian state, but a peaceful agreement must be reached.
Kosovo would have to rejoice that Serbia, however, has taken steps westward, we do not need war, nor do we need a peace agreement with Serbia. We need peace agreement with Serbia. We can't force Serbia, but we have to work with the international factor, as the United States representative said we should double peace agreement efforts. Instead of following this path, it says here that war should begin, he added.
