In honour of 24th anniversary of “The era of Dukagjin”, Defence Minister Armend Mehaj, along with members of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), has been homazhe at the Gladjan Witness Memorial complex.
Today marks the 24th anniversary of Glogjana's battle, known as “The era of Dukagjini”, which took place on 24 March 1998, where the Kosovo Liberation Army under Ramush Haradinaj faced the siege of the invading Serb forces in Glodjan. This battle begins the frontal struggle between KLA and Serbian forces in the Dukagjin Operative Zone.
