This date has its early beginning, to remind of the first foundations of the Albanian school, in fact it has begun to remember, since 1960, when the Albanian state decided that this day would be a celebration of the founding of the first Albanian Teacher of Korca, which was founded on March 7, 1887.
The teacher's party on the national level serves to assess the best traditions of the Albanian school, no doubt even the honorable figure of teachers but also all education workers as teachers of the younger generation and as active contributors to the development and progress of Albanian society.
Until the early 1990 ' s in Albania, to promote the teaching of a superior quality, the best - known teachers were rewarded with the high decorations that were the Master of Merit and the Teacher of the People.
On this day's occasion, plaque will be inaugurated in the home of Ibrahim Gashi's family, where during 1991-1998 education process took place for students of the high school of music “Prenk Jamesa” in Pristina, where Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister Arberie Nagavci will participate.
Kurti and Nagavci will also visit elementary and lower high school “Elena Gjika” in Pristina, the Kosovo Assembly will hold an extraordinary session, while the main manifestation in honour of 7 Mars, where the “prize will be shared. Shaban Jashar” for the distinguished teacher is held in the National Library “Peter Bogdani”.
