Russia hit military targets in Ukraine's western town of Lviv, with high precision missiles, the Russian Defence Ministry said Sunday.
Russia hit a fuel depot used by Ukrainian forces near Lviv with long-range missiles to hit a factory in the city that was being used to repair antiaircraft systems, and radar stations, the ministry said.
The Russian Federation's “Armed Forces continue offensive actions as part of special military operation”, ministry spokesman Igor Konasenkov said in a statement.
The ministry showed videos of missile attacks in Lviv.
Officials in Lviv, just 60km from the NATO-member Poland border, said people were injured in missile attacks.
Russia also used long-range sea-based missiles to destroy an arsenal of S-300 missiles and BUK anti-aircraft missile systems near Kiev, the ministry said.
Russian forces also destroyed a number of fears, he said. / REL
