Kosovo is among the first countries in this part of Europe that has joined the West in imposing sanctions against Russia after Vladimir Putin launched his forces to invade the neighbouring state, Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine is being conveyed with enormous attention to Kosovo, with citizens showing their compassion for developments there, usually on social networks. In this situation, the Kosovo government has thought to show the country's positioning even more crucially.
As the international news agency Reuters reports, Kosovo plans to provide housing for six months to 20 Ukrainian journalists.
The government will initially allocate 150,000 euros to pay their living expenses, salaries and offices for a period of up to six months to enable them to work in distance.
