The embassy reports that the process of converting drivers to German banks has already begun.
The embassy suggests that all interested in converting drivers' license can begin with the process of applying conversion to the cities or settlements they live in, respectively, at the centre responsible for German institutions.

Honored citizens of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany,
Following the vote on recognition of drivers' license (at the Bundesrat plenary session on February 11, 2022) and its entry into force, the process of converting drivers into German banks has already begun.
All interested in converting drivers' license can begin with the process of applying conversion to the cities or settlements they live in, respectively, at the centre responsible to German institutions.
Taking into account the great volume of requests for converting and aimed at accelerating the process of patent verification of drivers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Republic of Kosovo (MPB) in close co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) will enable verification of patent quality drivers in all consulal missions of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany, respectively, citizens' equipment on the validability of getting drivers into regular procedure in Kosovo. The patent verification system will be carried out soon (in a few minutes), standardized, and several languages.
During the next few days, we will inform you of additional details and the starting date of the verification of drivers in consular missions of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany.
