Amid all terror, a moment of relief.
Members of Kiev's orchestra have held an improvised concert in the open sky at the city's Independence Square.
With hats and coats while playing in cold temperatures, they performed different parts, including the European Union anthem Ode to Joy of Beethoven, reports the BBC.
Social media videos showed a small crowd standing up to listen to music and waving Ukrainian flags, broadcasting Klankosova.tv.
The conductor, Herman Makarenko, said the goal was to promote the Ukrainian government's call for a no-fly zone across the country and end the war.
