Johnson: Ukraine cannot join NATO soon

Great Britain Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said there is no intention of Ukraine joining NATO soon, reports The Guardian.

He has been asked about Ukraine's president's statement yesterday, Voldymyr Zelenskiy, that Ukraine will not join NATO, Johnson has said he understands it.

I spoke again with Volodymyr [Zelenskiy] yesterday. And you know, of course, I understand what he's saying about NATO and reality of position... And everyone has always said, and we have made it clear to Putin that there is no possibility that Ukraine will soon join NATO”, he said.

On the other hand, despite even the war circumstances it has become known to Ukraine that there is no quick membership in NATO, in Kosovo the leaders of the Kurti Government are demanding accelerated process of Kosovo's NATO membership. / P ERISCOPIA
