NATO needs Kosovo

We, our people, and our country with NATO have established unbreakable ties.

Kosovo is embedded between allies on both sides of the Atlantic.

The world today has changed, and NATO must accept Kosovo at its open doors.

NATO needs Kosovo.

It needs it as a added value to contribute peace and security to future generations throughout the world.

Humanity, Freedom, Democracy and Solidarity.

NATO's determination to protect these values saved the country and our people from genocide.

We well know the value of protecting lives vulnerable to evil.

We know the value of the warrior against mass human rights abuses.

With NATO we stood and stood side by side in the KFOR operation in our country.

With the U.S. alongside us, we were in the stability operation in Kuwait and we'd be together in other operations.

With NATO side by side, we are in a humanitarian operation to evacuate Afghan refugees.

We are ready today as NATO partner and member wherever deemed we can contribute.

Besides our forces, everything we created in the Republic of Kosovo, we did together with NATO and its member states.

So our strength, everything we have is interoperable with NATO.

We are aware that the NATO membership process requires time and patience.

But the current momentum in the new security environment now requires our contribution to NATO.

It requires our membership now.

We want more Kosovo in NATO.

And more NATO in Kosovo.
