An hour of conversation between Putin and Scholz is required to stop the war

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has talked with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the phone and has asked him to stop all military actions immediately, a German government spokesman said.

Scholz also called on Putin to allow access to humanitarian aid in areas where fighting is under way, the BBC writes, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.

During the one-hour conversation, leaders agreed to soon hold further talks, the spokesman added.
