The heroic work of the legendary KLA commander, Adem Jashar, and the basic sacrifice of the entire Jashar family was praised by the three heads of state.
President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Chief Parliamentary Glauk Konjfuca said Jasaraj are national values and their sacrifice has laid the foundations of the state of Kosovo.
After the analysis of the national and Kosovo anthem, President Vjosa Osmani said the Jashari family work will always remain in the memory of the Albanian nation and will be preserved eternally.
Unfortunately today when we remember this story, it's happening only to another people. Similar goals, similar methods, and similar ideology. The same innocent victims, children and elders who are guilty, as they call such hegemony. Such a situation was faced by the Jashari family 24 years ago, in the face of a terrible hegemony and a murderous regime... The heroic acts of KLA commander Adem Jashar and the basic sacrifice of the entire Jashar family for freedom is the most important event that has laid the foundations of the state and will always remain in the memory of the Albanian nation and will be preserved there eternally”, she said.
In the Parliament's speaker, where the KLA's emblems had been put up, Prime Minister Albin Kurti also mentioned former KLA leaders who are being tried in The Hague by the Special Court.
He called for a joint commitment not to waver before provocations and attempts to change the truth of the KLA's liberation war.
“Today, we need to talk about the past and honor it, especially in these light times that we are going through together. It is impossible not to mention that at the time when we remember one of the most terrible massacres of our liberation war and one of the most unprecedented heroisms in The Hague, we have fellow fighters of Adam and Hamez Jashar being held in prison, for this very war and for this horror that we have built with blood, while Serbia wants to rebuild with lies. We have to work actively to remember what has been and not a moment to waver before the provocations that are becoming our own”, he stressed.
While Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca said 5 March is the supreme act of national freedom of Albanians.
March “5 is the supreme act of our national freedom. The most important event for Albanians who began the 20th century was Albania's independence, while the most important event that ended the 20th century was the liberation of Kosovo. And the most important event within Kosovo's liberation is, of course, the heroic fall and the enormous sacrifice of the Jasharaites with legendary Commander Adem Yasar at the helm. Freedom is freedom and fact, and independence is freedom and jury. To be a deliverer is to be ready to the end within the right”, he said.
Part of this solemn session was Rifat Jashar, brother of the legendary commander, Adem Jashar. In the case of the 24th anniversary of the glorious Age of the Kosovo Liberation Army, other activities on March 6th and 7th have been envisioned. /kp/
