Haziri Borovci has completed his testimony in the judicial process to Salih Mustaf in The Hague, where, among other things, he has said he is convinced of his fellow fighter's innocence. The LDK's event has told the court disgrace not to fall prey to manipulated witnesses but to analyse well every witness in order to establish justice.
During his testimony before the court, Borovci has indicated he moved from Pristina on March 31st 1999 to the village of Bbutovac, where he said he met with Salih Mustaf several times within the first part of April.
On the 2nd, or 3rd, it was the first meeting and three four times, or five times other meetings, I didn't say we met on the second part, but I said it was there by the second part of April, or April 15-16. And the other meetings I've had with Mr. Salih Mustaf were three more four meetings, which we haven't held every day because I've stayed with the Recicz, he's been staying with Sopi's family. The place where I've been positioned in an extremely dangerous and sensitive point, I when I did my duty guard, I've returned to the Recica family, but there have been times when I came back from there through the front yard of Mustaf Sopi's house, whether his parent”, Borovci said.
The former BIA member has said that in the years of 1998, information has been given to Isa Kastrat, adding since 1999 to Mustafe Sopi, who, according to him, had close knowledge of Salih Mustaf.
And we didn't know who reported it was either Isa or Mustafa, but the logic has taken us that Isa had contact with the Lyp Operative Zone because he had knowledge, he had friends earlier who taught him that he had fellow prison mates, and Mustafa told us that Salih Mustaf had students, showed us that Salih Mustafa was in prison, showed us that Salih Mustafa had a good family, before we knew Salih Mustaf when we were at the House of Musta Sopi, that he was a patriot, and that we didn't ask him to keep it because of Mustah Mustafa, even if he told us, he said he said he said he said he had to us.
At the end of his testimony, Borovci has sought justice from the court for Salih Mustaf.
“Chief Court, Your Honor, I ask you not to be merciful but to justice, and I am very convinced that you will decide correctly, you will analyze all witnesses, do not fall prey to manipulated witnesses, to blackmailed witnesses, but to analyze well the circumstances we have handled, that have been very difficult circumstances, and I wish no people, no nation that has happened to us. Thank you and thank you to all of you for being here and to say hello to Salih Mustaf that I consider innocent”, Borovci said.
