After raising food products prices, the United Education Union has applied to the Government for the workers of this sector to rely on 100 euros. But that has not yet happened, even the government has not talked to representatives of this Union, writes Periscope.

The SBASK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj in a proposal for Periscope, has said they have so far expected to meet with government representatives, but without any results. He even adds that they have sent letters to President Vjosa Osmani and chief speaker Glauk Konjufca.

“We have expected that at the end of March the first version of the Law of Salaries will be released in public, and in March there will be room for the government to open dialogue with the SBASK and other unions, but so far this has not happened. Jasharaj says the possibility that on April 2nd the strike is still open, adding that a meeting of municipal-level and university heads will be held tonight at 20 o'clock.

Jasharaj says their demand is to support education workers of 100 euros and to have merit seats in the Law of Salaries.

Our demand is that the entire educational system have meritive place in this law and because of the enormous rise of essential items of life until the law does not deal with trade unions, the Government has intervened with 100 euros for all employed in the education sector, he concluded.

We remember that the AAK has also called for salary increases for teachers, calling that their category cannot be overlooked.
