According to the AKS, price hikes have been noted in products such as bread and cereals, meat, milk, cheese, eggs, oil, trees, vegetables, etc.
The overall harmonised consumption prices <x0). This is mainly explained with the rise of consumer prices in this period of COICOP subgroups: bread and cereal (15.7%); meat (8.6%); milk, cheese and eggs (11.1%); oils and food fats (32.1%); vegetables (13.8%); sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and candy (11.3%); various food products, sauce, spices, salt, food for children and so on. The overall harmonised consumption prices “is higher at an average of 1.1% in February 2022, compared to January 2022. This is primarily explained with the raising of consumer prices in COICOP subgroups: bread and cereal (0.8%); meat (0.8%); milk, cheese and eggs (2.0%); oils and food fats (1.0%); trees (1.6%); vegetables (9.6%); sugar, jam, chocolate, chocolate and candy (1.4%); water, nonalcoholic drink, trees and vegetables (1.0%); (0%); household fuel and lucants for personal transportation equipment (5.5% hotel service), with an impact of those affected by 1.1% of the ACHCHCHCHCH).
