European Parliament votes for Ukraine's accession as candidate country

The European Parliament has voted in favour of Ukraine's accession as an EU candidate country. Out of 676 total votes, in favour of Ukraine's accession were 637 seats, 13 refused as another 26 abstained. We remember that Ukraine's application for membership in the European Union came yesterday, where Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenski signed the application document.
