The Commission for the Political System of the Government of Montenegro, led by Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, adopted a package of sanctions against Russia, which had previously been introduced by the European Union Council.
Among other things, sanctions apply to 696 Russian citizens, as well as financial institutions, property, trade, and goods distribution.
The list includes Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Misusin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Colokoltsev, Ramzan Cadyrov, Russian President Chechen, former Russian president and current Russian Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev.
The list also includes Igor Sechin, chief executive of the Russian state oil company Rosneft, Nikolai Tokarev, chief executive of the Russian oil and gas company Transneft, writes Vijesti, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
For the decision to take effect, the government must confirm it.
