The BBC has been closely following the story, where it talked to several participants as they entered the Cremlin-Cremlin rally.
Many told the BBC that they worked in the public sector, and that pressure has been put on them by employers to follow the organisation.
A man working at Moscow Metro said he and other workers were forced to attend the party.
I'm going to walk in just a little bit and then I'm going to leave... I don't think most people here support war. I don't support it”, the man said.
Many people did not want to be filmed or answered by questions.
The students said they were given a break from lessons in exchange for following the concert.
Some of the students did not even know who the collection was dedicated to, especially supporting the war in Ukraine.
