British Intelligence: The Russians have made very little progress towards Kiev

Britain's Defence Ministry has said Russia's advance in Kiev has been delayed by Ukrainian resistance and that more than 30km away from the city centre remain, reports The Guardian. The latest intelligence has reported that some cities that are spoken of may have been brought under [...] control.
The latest intelligence has reported that several cities which are said to have been brought under Russia's control are actually not.
Despite heavy Russian attacks, cities such as Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Marioupol remain in the hands of Ukraine. Several Russian forces have entered the town of Kherson, but the military situation there remains unclear.
The report added that the Russian Defence Ministry “has been forced to accept” that 498 Russian soldiers have been killed and 1597 have been wounded in the war, adding that the actual number may be much higher.
