Britain: We support Poland if it sends aircraft to Ukraine, but beware

“I will support the Polish and whatever choices they make”, he told Sky News, Reuters, adding that the United Kingdom cannot provide aircraft Ukrainians would be able to use.
We would protect Poland, help them with whatever they need”, he said. Poland will understand that the elections they make not only would directly help Ukraine, which is a good thing, but could also bring fire to direct lines from countries such as Russia or Belarus.
He said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's speech to British deputies later today will be “the most powerful”, describing it as an amazing “>lax3> and the “spirit of Ukraine”.
Responding to criticism for dealing with refugees from the United Kingdom government, he said the British government “could do more”.
In another interview, with the Times Radio, he said Russian President Vladimir Putin is a “force spent in the world”.
“Whatever happens, President Putin is a spent force in the world and he is finished, his army is finished... and he must accept this”, he said.
He said the international community “has joined against it”, adding: “He is in a position where he will cause great economic difficulties to his people”.
