Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi has said he does not establish his signature in an agreement with Serbia, which is at odds with Kosovo's interests.
I do not sign any documents that are not fair and acceptable to the state of Kosovo. I don't even have the powers to sign because it's the prime minister and the highest body in this case”, Bislimi told the region.
He has also talked about the length of dialogue, saying it does not depend on the Kosovo side since <x0-dynamics cannot we just postpone before”.
I can't shut down the length of the dialogue, but it would be ideal for within two years to complete this long and painful road. Lajcak himself is interested in speeding up the dialogue process and remember that there are few diplomats in the EU who enjoy respect more than Lajcak, and I am happy that Lajcak's expectations by the dialogue epilogue are close to ours. We also see no differences in relation to Gabriel Eskobar, who is directly locked in the dialogue process”.
Bislimi has added that the important that Kosovo does not go to these talks to dialogue for recognition, but that there is a general agreement on the Serbian side in which mutual recognition is at the heart of the agreement.
“We are aiming to normalise reports with the neighbouring state. You've seen for yourself that there wasn't a Lajcak statement that would be problematic for us”.
Speaking of European Union promises about visa liberalisation, Besnik Bislimi says that according to the EU, Kosovo has met its criteria and obligations.
I think there are positive news for Kosovo and we are in a good mirror in the fight against crime and corruption, and we are taking positive points in this direction from the international factor. After all, I am optimistic and believe in the European Union”.
