Basha's words after his resignation: I wasn't for a chair.

Part of Basha's statements after the resignation was announced:

Corruption has been superfluous to an internal war. I personally invested everything in a solution that would serve the DP. Today I don't want to stop by what happened and how anybody was right and wrong because time will clear. My attempt to keep Pd you together didn't succeed. Many decompressors and I faced many attacks, and as a result, Pd is experiencing a deep crisis today.

I've decided to step back. This is not an attraction for personal comfort but a more incentive for the DP to do it together. I want to tell whoever Pd needs to see the future I am and I'm committed to you.

I will never tire of expressing gratitude and determination to do anything. This means that this will go on undaunted and fickle, trying with its own meat and soul to rebuild the PD.

I am convinced that there needs to be an analysis of principled unity and renewal as early as possible. A free process from the basis of the entire leadership.

It needs to start a process of consciousness, analysis and principled co-operation as soon as possible after an open, transparent, free and fair election process, from the centre of the entire DP leadership.
