The World Bank Group says it is preparing for this month to extend 700m dollars in loans to Ukraine.
Her chairman, David Malpas, spoke on the phone with Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelensky.
The bank board is currently considering a $500m credit proposal, dubbed Resiliency Financing by Economic Emergency in Ukraine, reports the BBC, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.
The loan has been reached with guarantees from bilateral partners, including Holland and Sweden”, the bank noted.
Malpas also told Zelensky that the bank was working to ensure an additional $200m support at the end of March” and has created a “phone of confidence to facilitate the channeling of grants resources from donors to Ukraine”.
