2m euros seized in Tirana, allegedly stemming from criminal activities

The operation was conducted by the Department for Investigation of Money Laundering and Criminal Assets in DVP Tirana, in co-operation with the Prosecutor at the Court of First Scale Tirana.

Following investigative work on obtaining and sequenting assets stemming from criminal activity, experts in the Department for Investigation of Money Laundering in Tirana
They had sent preliminary investigative materials to the Tirana Judiciary District Prosecution, which has recorded criminal proceedings for criminal work “Cleaning of criminal or criminal activity products”.

Under the prosecution's direction to Tirana's First Stair Court, under the code-named police operation “Transactions”, there was an execution of the prosecution's decision to the Court of First Stairway to establish the preventive sequistros to active and real estate in charge of citizens S. A. allis G. K. allis S. K., 34, resident in Tirana.

This citizen was previously detained by the Dutch and German police authorities, as suspected of criminal acts “Producing and selling narcotics” and “Money Passing”.

In the process of the Court's decision, the sequential and realistic assets, whose value amounts to about 2m euros, namely:

• A building (ville), along with a plot of land in Palas, Vlora; a building (ville) in Sac; an apartment on the Elbasan Street; two surfaces in Sac; 4 vehicles and 20% shares in a private business.

Under the prosecution's direction, work is under way to discover other assets that this citizen and his family may have registered on behalf of others. /Okéu. com/
