The United Nations Human Rights Office has confirmed today that 227 civilians have been killed and 525 injured in Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict, reports The Guardian, broadcast Periscope.
However, the UN believes the actual number is markedly higher, especially in the government-controlled territory in recent days, due to reporting delays in some areas where intense fighting has developed.
The majority of these victims were caused by the use of explosive weapons with a wide area of influence, including grants from heavy artillery and multiproposed missile systems, and air attacks, said by the UN Office. / P ERISCOPI/
