In reasoning on the decision, Z. The RRE says it has decided to approve this tariff structure, as they estimate it reflects on the costs of service according to consumer categories and promotes electricity savings.

“According to electricity sales data, covering post-subvention costs would mean applying tariffs as follows: a) raising 0% of electricity components of non-family consumer tariffs; b) The 0% increase in electricity tariffs for household consumers for consumption rates of up to 800kWh for a month of billing; and c) The fee application of 0.1252 $/kWh for electricity consumed at high fee time and 0.059 kWh for energy consumed in low consumption fee for over 800 kWh for a monthly period of fattour”, says the ZERE decision.

The body that regulates activities in Kosovo's energy sector says it has addressed all the comments of the interest parties following the publication of the consultative report, where the expensive electricity was proposed for those who spend over 600 kWh of electricity per month. For changing the price-of-power threshold from up to 600 kWh to 800 kWh, the ZRRE has no reason in the decision.

“While initial Z proposal The RRE has proposed restoring the table structure with progressive blockades to reflect more accurately the difference between the cost of local energy capacities and the cost of imported energy. The bloc's size was proposed to be 600 kVVh, estimated as the report between the energy produced by local capacities (Kosovo Energy Corps) and the number of consumers of the universal service supplier. The energy price for the first consumer bloc (under 600 kWh) would reflect the average cost of providing this energy from local capacities, while the price on the bloc (over 600kWh) would more precisely reflect the fact that this energy should be imported, so this bloc's fee would reflect import prices”, says the decision that ZRRE again argues its first proposal for the price of electricity for consumers spending over 600 kWh per month.

THE GER shows that new electricity tariffs will be in effect from February 9 to March 31, 2023, while the government's expensive electricity scenario is mentioned. In this case, according to Z. RRE, the electricity price for consumers who spend up to 800 kWh per month would increase by 21%.

“In the non-subventional scenario, under ZRE's fernal recommendation and the bloc's growth to 800 kWh per month, coverage of this cost would require: 1) a 21% increase in non-family consumer energy tariff components (biszensork); 2) a 21% increase in household consumer energy tariffs by 800 kWh and 3) Application of the fee of 0.21/H/H for energy consumed at the time of the 0.20th) and 0.20% for energy consumption in energy consumption rates were consumed 800 months (for monthly consumption). Z RRE has stressed that this differs from Z's initial proposal RRE's by which, if the bloc is located at 600 kWh, growth for non-family consumers and consumers worth up to 600 kWh was estimated to be 9%”, the decision said.

According to the ZRRE, 70 percent of consumers do not exceed the consumption of 800 kilowatts per hour of electricity consumption.

Disgruntled ones may appeal it within 30 days.
