Talks with the Russian delegation will focus on achieving an immediate ceasefire and withdrawing Russian forces from Ukraine, the Ukrainian Presidency said.
The statement comes shortly after the announcement that the Ukrainian delegation has arrived at an area on the Ukraine-Belarus border for talks with representatives of the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian delegation includes Defence Minister Olexii Reznikov, and presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak.
For the Russian delegation right now, there are no details.
Ukraine has been under full Russian occupation since February 24.
At least 352 civilians, including 14 children, have been killed since the beginning of the occupation, the Ukraine Ministry of Health said Sunday. Over 1,600 people reported injuries.
